PLX3x Universal L-Bracket Overview

Built for photographers who shoot with multiple camera bodies, the PLX3x Universal L-Bracket fits most DSLR and mirrorless cameras on the market today, regardless of brand — as long as your camera doesn't have a vertical battery grip attached. At just 3 inches, it's a compact bracket that works across full-frame and crop-sensor bodies alike.

The bracket's two-piece design features an extendable vertical plate, unlike fixed L-brackets that can block cable ports or the battery compartment. Sliding the vertical plate out on hardened steel rods gives you full access to your ports and battery door, or helps you find the center point of your image when tethering.

Machined from aircraft-grade T6061 aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating, the PLX3x is compatible with Arca-Swiss, Kirk, Markins, Really Right Stuff, and Wimberley clamp systems, so it drops into your existing tripod or monopod setup without extra adapters. An integrated SS2 or QD strap port lets you convert your camera into a compact rig with the right attachments, and a detachable strap loop keeps your options open.

Rubber pads on the base plate rest directly against the camera body, eliminating play or twisting for a secure, stable mount. A built-in magnetic Allen wrench holder keeps your tool on hand for quick adjustments in the field.
